About this dive site
This dive site is located at Stoney Cove, a renowned artificial reef in the Midlands of England. Established in the 1960s as a practice bombing range, it has since become one of the UK’s most popular dive sites. The site offers an incredible variety of wrecks and features, including a Morris Minor car, a Ford Cortina, a Catalina yacht, and numerous other submerged vehicles and structures. It's a complex environment with varying depths ranging from just 6 meters to over 30 meters. Visibility can vary significantly depending on conditions, but often ranges between 10 and 25 meters. Stoney Cove is known for its strong currents and unpredictable tides, which add to the challenge and excitement of diving there. The site is home to a diverse range of marine life, including lobsters, crabs, sea bass, and various species of fish.
