This dive site is located at Mashapaug Pond, a 300-acre freshwater lake situated within the larger Bigelow Hollow State Park in Union, Connecticut. The park is part of the expansive 9000-acre Nipmuk Forest, offering a natural and varied environment. Divers can easily access the water from shore, and the area boasts a diverse population of fish and turtles. The surrounding landscape includes trees and rock formations adding to the appeal.
