About this dive site
This dive site, known as "Electric Beach," is located near Kahe Point on Oahu. It’s unique due to the warm water discharge from a nearby power plant, which has created thriving artificial reefs featuring abundant coral growth and extensive natural reef formations. The area consistently supports a diverse marine ecosystem, including various reef fish species and several endemic varieties. Divers of all experience levels will enjoy exploring this site, as new discoveries are often made on each dive. A notable feature is the possibility of encountering dolphins year-round – one of the few locations on Oahu where they can be reliably observed and heard.
