This dive site, French Cap Pinnacle, is a highly regarded favorite, characterized by a central underwater pinnacle situated near a significant south drop. Its location often brings a variety of large pelagic species, making each dive a potential surprise. The dive primarily involves circling and exploring the vibrant pinnacle, which acts as an aggregation point for marine life.
Divers can expect to encounter an abundance of active marine life, including numerous sharks, majestic queen angelfish, sleek barracudas, and elusive green moray eels. Lionfish are also present, alongside large schools of various other fish species, highlighting the site's rich biodiversity.
This site is best visited when conditions allow for deeper dives to fully appreciate the maximum depth of 22 meters and the large pelagic encounters.
