About this dive site
This dive site, known as The Devil’s Spring System, is a unique underwater environment featuring three interconnected springs: Devil’s Eye, Devil’s Ear, and Devil Spring ("Little Devil"). These springs produce an astounding volume of approximately 80 million gallons of water daily. Due to its delicate ecosystem and challenging conditions, Ginnie Springs enforces a strict policy – no lights are permitted for divers entering the system. This regulation is in place to protect experienced cavern divers who can safely navigate these areas without artificial light. Devil Spring (“Little” Devil), measuring four feet wide, serves as an entry point into this fracture system. It’s a 50-foot long crack that descends almost to the bottom. Divers exploring this area will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the sky above. The springs offer an interesting and somewhat challenging dive experience.
