About this dive site
This dive site is the Sea Tiger, a 51-meter long vessel that sank in 1999 as an artificial reef off the coast of Hawai'i. The ship was originally carrying undocumented immigrants and subsequently confiscated and prepared for its final resting place. Since its sinking, it has become a popular location for marine life and is frequently explored by Atlantis Submarines. The Sea Tiger sits approximately 33 meters (110 feet) below the surface. This dive offers an advanced experience suitable for experienced divers who may explore the outer sections of the wreck. Maximum depth reached during dives is 37 meters (121 feet). Visibility ranges from 22 to 24 meters (71 to 80 feet) on average. Photo credits belong to Ninth Life Photography and Maridav, both available through Shutterstock.
