This dive site, Mingo Bay, presents a fascinating underwater landscape. It begins with a gently sloping reef that gradually descends into a broad sand flat. This sand area is surprisingly vibrant with marine life; you'll frequently encounter garden eels, upside-down jellyfish, conch shells, and hermit crabs. Adding to the interest are colorful reef mounds and islands, providing ample shelter for fish and other creatures. The upper portion of the reef features a shallow shelf, offering excellent opportunities for close encounters with green or hawksbill turtles. The site combines diverse habitats and abundant wildlife, making it a rewarding dive.
