This dive site, known as ‘Pronto’, offers a fascinating glimpse into maritime history. It was constructed in 1895 and tragically sunk on April 29, 1929, at approximately 5 pm outside the Ilhéu da Pontinha with a substantial cargo of 200 tons of water. The wreck rests on a sandy seabed at a depth of 30 meters, surrounded by an impressive diversity of marine life.
