About this dive site
At Merimbula's Bar Beach, there are two popular ways to get into the water and start snorkeling.
For those seeking an adrenaline rush, many people choose to jump from the jetty directly into the water. This is a common and exciting way to enter the deeper sections of the beach.
Alternatively, you can access the water by walking behind the café and descending onto the rocks. From there, you can freedive among the rocks and seaweed. This area is teeming with marine life, including leatherjackets, sea urchins, and crabs.
