About this dive site

This dive site, located in a volcanic crater lake, offers a unique diving experience. The depth ranges from 6 to 45 meters, providing options for both recreational and technical divers. Access is available via a rocky shore path – caution is advised as fishermen frequently use this area, and fishing line may be present underwater. Boat diving allows exploration of multiple sites within the lake; however, private boats are restricted to this region. This location is particularly appealing during periods when the sea conditions aren't favorable. Divers can expect to encounter rock formations, schools of small fish residing amongst aquatic vegetation, and potentially lost boat anchors. It’s a popular spot for training sessions by experienced divers due to the possibility of deep dives from shore without needing a boat. A torch, DSMB, and dive float are recommended equipment. Be aware that this is a busy area with boat traffic.
