About this dive site
This dive site is located on the North side of the Lee Breakwater. It offers a protected diving experience, shielded from Southerly and Westerly winds, making it accessible year-round. The depth is restricted by authorities; access beyond the wave marker at approximately 9 meters is limited due to increased fisherman activity, which can create entanglement hazards for divers. Divers should utilize a dive float and flag as this area is open to boat traffic. Exercise caution when diving near the shallow end of the Breakwater to avoid tangling with fishing lines. The rocky wall features a diverse marine ecosystem including Nudibranchs, sponges, soft corals, sea stars, rays, Angel Sharks, Wobbygong Sharks, various fish species, and occasionally Weedy Seadragons.
