About this dive site
This dive site is located along Nunn's beach, offering easy access via a boardwalk. The diving area extends parallel to the Breakwater Wall, with depths ranging from 20 to 50 meters off the wall. To reach the reef systems, swim due East, beginning around 4 meters in depth. These areas are known for their diverse marine life, including Weedy Seadragons, Shaw's Box fish, and Angel Sharks. Fiddler Rays, various reef fish species, nudibranchs, sponges, soft corals, and false corals can also be found here. The reef habitats vary in density, with some areas offering abundant formations while others may be more sparse, depending on proximity to the Breakwater Wall. Best visibility is achieved during Westerly or Southerly winds and low swell conditions. This area is suitable for diving year-round; however, it’s an open ocean environment, so a dive float and flag are recommended for safety.
