About this dive site

This dive site is located on a shore accessible from the Surf Life Saving Club. The entry point follows a reef wall, with an old river bed present to the left. This area boasts a diverse marine ecosystem due to abundant marine grass and plant life covering the reef wall – this creates a haven for various fish species, crayfish, and invertebrates. The dive is best enjoyed during low tide and calm conditions, specifically when swells are 1.7 meters or less and winds are from the North, East, or West. It’s an interesting dive, frequently offering plenty of fish, particularly near the end of the reef wall at a depth of approximately 8 meters. Because boats often pass through this area, using a Diver Below Flag and float is highly recommended for safety. Visibility can range from 3 to 20 meters depending on weather conditions.
