About this dive site

This dive site, known as The Strip, is a vibrant, low-profile coral formation located in approximately 12 meters of water, surrounded by expansive sand and algae beds. It features numerous ledges and overhangs that provide shelter and exploration opportunities for divers. The site is easy to navigate due to its distinct strip-like shape amidst a sandy bottom.

Divers can expect to encounter huge schools of grunts and snappers, various species of eels including rare types, sea turtles, and nurse sharks. The site is also teeming with diverse macro life, including invertebrates, crustaceans, and nudibranchs, particularly noticeable during night dives.

The Strip is exceptional for both day and night diving, with night dives offering the chance to spot rare eels, crustaceans, and nudibranchs in action. Its shallow average depth and abundant marine life make it an excellent choice for all experience levels, including snorkelers and freedivers. It's often considered one of the best night dive sites in the area for its active nocturnal ecosystem.
