This dive site is the Great Blue Hole, a renowned marine sinkhole located near the center of Lighthouse Reef Atoll. Situated off the coast of Belize in the easternmost part of its barrier reef, this massive structure presents a fascinating underwater spectacle. The hole’s circular shape spans approximately 300 meters (984 feet) across and plunges to a depth of 125 meters (410 ft). It's a significant feature within Belize’s coral reef ecosystem.
