About this dive site

This dive site is located just 10 minutes from Paphos Harbour, easily accessible past the lighthouse. The wreck of the Greek vessel, which sank in 1975, rests on a sandy bottom at a depth of 12 meters. This location offers an excellent experience for those completing their introductory scuba diving courses. The seabed is composed of sand and rock, minimizing disturbance to the environment. The wreck itself presents a fascinating exploration; it broke apart into three main sections. One particularly popular feature is the upturned stern, including the bronze propeller and winch. A broken side exposes the engine compartment, which remains intact and provides shelter for various marine creatures, such as octopus. Within the winch area, you might encounter a moray eel.
