This dive site is a beautiful coral garden located near Marsa Alam, Egypt. The site features numerous coral blocks teeming with vibrantly colored soft corals, creating a stunning underwater landscape. Navigation is relatively straightforward, with few, easily accessible caves offering captivating light plays. The site is primarily accessed by boat or zodiac, ensuring a comfortable and convenient diving experience.

The marine life at Abu Dabab I is incredibly diverse. Divers and snorkelers can expect to encounter a variety of fish, including groupers, scorpionfish, morays, flutefish, lionfish, parrotfish, surgeonfish, and triggerfish. Anemone and colorful coral formations add to the site's visual appeal.

The best time to visit is during the warmer months (April-October), when the water temperature is pleasant and visibility is typically excellent. However, even outside of these months the diving is still enjoyable. For freediving, the calm conditions and shallow depths make it ideal for various levels of freedivers.
