About this dive site
This dive site focuses on Ras Nasrani, a popular location in Sharm el Sheikh's northern region. It offers diverse diving experiences – drift dives, semi-drift dives, and mooring dives – due to its varied topography. Nearby is Ras Gamila, an exposed site suitable only during calm conditions. Dives typically proceed northwards, but currents should be considered. The area features a fringing reef plate characterized by sandy bays transitioning into an extended plateau covered in dense coral growth. This plateau provides opportunities to observe pelagic fish and the impressive Gorgonian fan corals that flourish along the current’s path. The site is known for its vibrant ecosystem and interesting underwater formations.
