About this dive site
This dive site is located in Gibraltar, specifically a deliberately sunk artificial reef. The wreck of the Sea Hawk, a 25-meter wooden cargo vessel, rests on a flat sandy seabed at a depth of 27 meters. It was intentionally submerged on April 30th, 2002, as part of an artificial reef project initiated by Mr. Eric Shaw. The Sea Hawk provided shelter for marine life and offers opportunities for exploration. Visibility around the wreck is expected to be good.
