About this dive site

This dive site is located midway between Rhodes Town and Lindos, in a beautiful area known for its greenery. Situated near Seven Springs (Epta Piges), Kolymbia offers a pleasant experience with a mix of rock formations, sandy areas, and sea grass beds – creating a habitat for diverse Mediterranean marine life. The depth ranges from 10 to 12 meters, making it suitable for various levels of experience. Key features include the limestone reef, Tsambika's wall, and a fascinating glass fish tunnel. You might encounter octopus, squid, rabbitfish, and various rockfish. There’s also a chance to spot black anemones and slipper lobsters. Visibility is excellent, often exceeding 15 meters, with temperatures ranging from 19 to 30 degrees Celsius. Currents are typically weak or non-existent, providing a relaxed diving environment. Programs available include qualified diver dives and introductory experiences for snorkeling.
