About this dive site

This dive site offers a tranquil and beautiful experience in Ladiko bay, located approximately 15 kilometers from Rhodes Town. The bay is known for its consistently calm conditions due to negligible tides – truly reflecting its name. Historically, a merchant ship wrecked within the bay many years ago, leaving behind remnants of ceramic objects scattered across the seabed, including broken pottery and amphorae. At the bay's end, a dramatic wall descends steeply to 32 meters, creating a sandy bottom area with an intense thermocline. Before exploring this depth, divers are typically directed to shallower sites due to the considerable depth and associated difficulty level. The site is regularly dived every Sunday. This location provides a unique opportunity to explore ancient history combined with underwater scenery.
