About this dive site

This dive site is located in the far south of an island, specifically at Plimiri. The wreck of the Giannoula K offers a fascinating diving experience. This Dutch-built vessel, launched in 1953 and carrying various names before its sinking in 1981, remains remarkably intact at a maximum depth of 22 meters. Divers can expect to encounter a variety of marine life including jacks, triggerfish, octopus, and moray eels. There is also a chance of spotting tuna. Visibility is excellent, with readings exceeding 15 meters, and the water temperature ranges from 19 to 30 degrees Celsius. Currents are generally calm but may occasionally be moderate. This wreck dive is suitable for qualified divers who have an advanced level of experience.
