About this dive site

This dive site, Kubu Reef, is located near the Boga Wreck, and is a perfect place for a second dive after Boga Wreck.

The dive begins from the shore, where you’ll find sunken bicycles and motorbikes just off the beach—placed there intentionally to attract marine life. These make for a fun photo opportunity at the end of the dive before your safety stop.

As you swim south, you’ll reach a massive artificial reef and statues covered in gorgonian fans, soft corals, and bustling fish schools. Along the way, you’ll pass large coral rocks and bommies teeming with vibrant marine life.

Keep an eye out for leaf scorpionfish, garden eels, blue-spotted stingrays, and occasional larger sightings like giant trevallies, turtles, and eagle rays.
