About this dive site

This dive site offers a unique exploration experience. The initial area is characterized by a shallow plateau near the coast, reaching approximately 5 meters in depth. Swimming east from this point, the underwater terrain gradually increases to 12 meters, where young golden groupers are occasionally observed. Further dives descend to around 25 meters and then continue to deeper levels. A prominent feature of this location is "Cow Passage", a narrow sandy canyon separating a rocky formation from another wall heading southeast. The top of this passage reaches about 30 meters in depth; the maximum depth within the passage remains unknown. The walls are vertical, adorned with vibrant red sea fans and teeming with lobsters – sometimes numbering too high to count. Notably, old nets have been colonized by marine life, including Clavelin and other organisms, transforming into sheltered habitats for various fish species. You might even encounter St. Peter’s fish, and occasionally large groupers raising clouds of sediment. The area is a fascinating blend of natural beauty and intriguing underwater history.
