This dive site, known as the ‘Wreck of the Columns’, is a popular location within the Isola Bella Marine park. It offers a compelling combination of historical interest and underwater exploration. The site features impressive columns – remnants of ancient Greek/Roman structures – that now form a beautiful part of the marine landscape. Depths range from 12 to 30 meters, providing opportunities for divers of varying experience levels. You might encounter a diverse array of marine life including Common Octopus, Flying Gurnard, Pink Flabellina, Rock Goby, Amberjack, Dusky Grouper, Painted Comber, Salema, Cardinal Fish, Damselfish, Hermit Crab, Mediterranean Moray Eel, Scorpionfish, Yellowmouth Barracuda, Bluefin Tuna, Red Shrimps and Forkbeard. The area is also known for shrimp caves and schools of barracuda swimming in the blue.
