About this dive site

This dive site is located at Punta del Serrone, a region renowned for its unique geological features and historical significance. The seabed here presents a rugged landscape, transitioning from jagged terrain in the shallowest areas towards rock canyons descending to depths of 13-16 meters, making it suitable for divers of varying experience levels. The dive takes place on a wall, benefiting from reduced sunlight exposure throughout much of the day due to the site’s location. This creates an environment ideal for observing specialized marine life, including flabellins, sea cows, octopuses, conger moray eels, scorpion fish, croakers, and various small groupers. The area boasts caves and arches, and is famously associated with the discovery of the "Bronzes of Brindisi" in the 1990s. Occasionally, after strong storms, remnants such as amphorae and other archaeological finds can be spotted on the seabed.
