About this dive site
This dive site offers a fascinating offshore dry diving experience suitable for divers of various levels. The area begins with a cap of a shoal, varying in depth from 13 to 15 meters. Descending further, the base of the cap reaches depths between 18 and 20 meters. This zone is known for its diverse marine life, including congregations of conger eels, moray eels, and octopuses. As you move outward, opportunities arise to encounter Groupers and Corvine fish species. Leaving the cap, the shoal gently slopes down towards an area called Massoni. Here, in the shallowest part reaching 24 meters, a historical anchor – approximately 4 meters long – can be observed. Continuing downwards, depths range from 26 to 28 meters, where Large lobsters and magnosas are frequently found. The dive culminates at a sandy bottom where an abandoned pipeline’s pipe often serves as a habitat for a sizable conger eel. This location presents a rewarding exploration for divers seeking varied depths and abundant marine life.
