About this dive site

This dive site features the C-130 Hercules, a sunken aircraft scuttled in 2019 near Aqaba. Located close to shore and at moderate depth, it offers an exciting wreck dive experience within the clear waters of Jordan. A storm in March 2020 caused significant damage to the plane’s aluminum structure, but it remains a popular destination. The cockpit and areas beneath the wings are now home to various fish species, creating a vibrant underwater environment. Beautiful soft corals also thrive on the wreckage's exterior. This provides opportunities for exploring both the structural elements of the aircraft and the diverse marine life inhabiting its interior.
