About this dive site
This dive site, known as Batu Malang or ‘Unlucky Rock’ in Malaysian, is a small but remarkably intricate underwater location. It consists of large boulders stacked upon one another, creating an exceptionally interesting topography. Swim-throughs are present beneath the rocks, offering unique exploration opportunities. The area boasts vibrant hard and soft corals that cling to these rocky outcrops. Batu Malang is renowned for its abundant nudibranch populations – a truly spectacular sight for underwater photographers and enthusiasts. Due to its relatively shallow depths, divers can spend considerable time enjoying the colorful displays of the coral reefs under sunlight.
