This dive site is Genting House Reef, an accessible shore dive in Malaysia known for its easy entry and gradual slope. The bottom transitions from silt, gravel, and sand, deepening from 5m to 20m. Two artificial reefs/wrecks are strategically placed at 7m depth, serving as focal points for marine life and navigation, making it an excellent location for wreck diving training.
Divers can expect to encounter a variety of marine animals, including majestic Hawksbill and Green Turtles, and the occasional Blacktip Reef Shark. The artificial reefs attract schools of fishes, while Giant Moray Eels, Maze Puffers, Longfin Batfish, and Giant Groupers can be spotted around the structures and reef.
The site is perfect for entry-level divers due to its manageable depth and conditions, and also caters to those undergoing wreck diving training. With its shallow average depth, it is also highly suitable for snorkelers and freedivers looking to explore its diverse marine life and artificial structures.
