About this dive site
This dive site, Kottey Corner, is characterized by a series of plateaus and features a steep drop-off. Diving here can be challenging due to the presence of large swells and strong currents. The west side offers varied depths: an upper plateau ranges from 8 to 15 meters, transitioning to a gently sloping area from 23 meters down to 40 meters, before dropping dramatically beyond 50 meters. Further west, a sandy bottom at approximately 35 meters provides habitat for stingrays and white-tip reef sharks. It's an interesting location with significant depth variation and potential wildlife encounters.
