This dive site is located in Siggiewi, on the south coast of Malta. Ghar Lapsi is a small, rocky inlet providing one of the few shore access points along this coastline. It offers a variety of diving experiences, including numerous shallow sites and impressive underwater formations. Several reefs, such as Finger Reef, Middle Reef, and Black John, present interesting exploration opportunities. The Crib, an underwater nativity scene, adds a unique element to the area. Finger Reef features a finger-shaped reef with a small wall and cave with an exit hole. It has a maximum depth of 20 meters. Middle Reef consists of multiple reefs surrounded by sand, sea grass, and boulders, reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters. Black John is an offshore reef near Ghar Lapsi, offering interesting rock formations and haloclines, with a maximum depth of 38 meters. Photo Credit - David Agius.
