About this dive site

This dive site presents the HMS Stubborn, a fascinating submarine wreck located approximately 3 kilometers northeast of Qawra Point. This British S-Class submarine, measuring 66 meters in length and 7 meters wide, was scuttled on April 30th, 1946 by the Royal Navy for use as a sonar training target. The wreck rests on a sandy seabed at an average depth of 45 meters, with a maximum depth of 56 meters. Due to its depth and condition, this dive is considered technical, requiring specialized skills and experience. The submarine is currently quite upright, though it has a slight tilt towards its starboard side. It was intentionally sunk to preserve its structure for training purposes. Access to the wreck is by boat only.

Location coordinates are 35.9825°N 14.4460°E. The HMS Stubborn offers an intriguing dive experience for experienced underwater explorers.
