About this dive site
This dive site is located at the Southern Tip of Isla Mujeres, offering a thrilling drift dive. The area features a historic shipwreck – a boat sunk in the 1922 hurricane, complete with an anchor and chain. Diving here provides consistent opportunities for exploration and adventure. May to July brings a spectacular event as Loggerhead turtles migrate to mate, creating a vibrant underwater scene filled with mating pairs. Regularly, divers encounter dolphins swimming freely in their natural habitat, adding to the unforgettable experience. In 2022, a family of manatees established residency in this area. Due to strong currents, this dive is recommended for experienced divers who are comfortable navigating challenging conditions.
