About this dive site

This dive site is located in the beautiful Maroro Bay. It offers a diverse range of underwater experiences, making it suitable for divers of various levels. The site features multiple depths, ranging from 3 to 12 meters, providing opportunities for both beginners and experienced divers. A shallow ledge near the entrance is abundant with nudibranchs and juvenile fish – an ideal spot for introductory dives or simply observing these fascinating creatures. A prominent pinnacle, reaching a maximum depth of 18 meters, stands at the corner of the site; it’s covered in vibrant life and has a swim-through nearby at 11 meters. Continuing along the wall leads to Big Eye Cave, a dark daytime shelter for ‘big eye’ fish species, starting at 9 meters and extending into the surrounding islands up to approximately 25 meters. Bring a torch for this dive as surge can affect visibility. The Meditation Wall is a truly spectacular area – a massive wall completely covered in encrusting life, including anemones, gorgonian fans, nudibranchs, hiding eels, and even scorpion fish. Keep an eye out in the deeper sandy areas, as stingrays are frequently found there. The overall depth range is 15 to 25 meters.
