About this dive site
This dive site presents a unique opportunity to explore the world’s largest sea cave by volume. Located near an anchorage, divers can head towards the southwestern corner of the cave to discover a sizable whale jawbone resting on the sandy seabed at approximately 12 meters. The cave's entrance offers fascinating visual experiences—in winter, low sunlight illuminates the interior, creating shimmering reflections off the water and promoting plant growth; in summer, it provides welcome shade. Beneath the surface, a diverse ecosystem awaits. Walls are adorned with sponges and hydroid life, while kelp is primarily found at the entrance due to limited light exposure. Adventurous divers can navigate amongst large boulders between 16 and 20 meters, searching for vibrant nudibranchs. Reaching the cave’s entrance reveals a sloping descent down to depths of 25-30 meters, where a kelp forest awaits.
