About this dive site
This dive site is located in the Southern Bay of Aorangi Island, a magical area known for its extensive wall. The bay itself is shallow, reaching a maximum depth of approximately 20 meters and features a kelp-covered bottom. It's a popular spot for spotting juvenile wrasse, demoiselles, scorpionfish, and occasionally winter seals. Divers can follow the wall’s clockwise course, admiring the incredibly dense marine life along the way – you’ll discover mosaic morays, gorgonian fans, Diadema urchins, and an abundance of large nudibranchs. At the base of the wall, situated between 18 and 20 meters, lies a sandy area frequently inhabited by stingrays and eagle rays.
