The marine life is diverse and abundant. Anemones, turtles, and cuttlefish are frequently sighted throughout the bay. The deeper areas are havens for nudibranchs, while the shallower parts are teeming with various fish species and colorful coral. The best time to visit Novice Bay is during the warmer months (October to May) when the water temperatures are ideal and visibility is at its best.
