Zighy Bay

This dive site is located in Zighy Bay, Oman, known for its beautiful scenery blending rocks and sandy slopes with a vibrant coral garden. Navigation is straightforward, following the sandy slopes and rock formations. The depth gradually increases, making it easy to manage for beginners. While there's no specific historical information readily available about the bay itself in relation to diving, its natural beauty and accessibility make it a popular spot. The diverse marine life here includes a variety of coral fish, Jackfish, Fusiliers, Barracudas, Angelfish, Lionfish, Murray Eel, Turtles, and Stingrays. The coral garden itself is teeming with smaller creatures offering opportunities for macro photography. The combination of diverse fish species and a thriving coral ecosystem makes this a great dive site. The best time to visit Zighy Bay is during the warmer months (October to May) when the sea is calmer and visibility is usually excellent.
