This dive site, Dumagat Freedive Training Site, is located approximately 150m from shore, directly in front of Caezar's Place. It features a predominantly sandy bottom, making it an excellent location for skill practice and underwater navigation. A freediving marker buoy is set just outside the Poblacion 2 sanctuary border at a depth of 43m, offering deeper training opportunities beyond the site's main recreational depth of 20m.
The site is home to diverse small marine life, despite its sandy substrate. At around 10 meters, visitors can spot fascinating garden eels swaying from the sand. Shallower areas host various species including flounders, small crabs, boxfish, pufferfish, porcupine fish, and several types of triggerfish.
The best time to visit aligns with the generally good diving conditions in the Philippines, typically outside of typhoon season. This site is ideal for freedivers of all levels, offering both shallow training zones and access to a deeper buoy for advanced practitioners. It also serves as a relaxing spot for scuba divers to observe macro life in a calm environment.
