About this dive site
This dive site presents a fascinating underwater experience centered around the remains of a Japanese World War II landing craft. The wreck, tragically damaged by a bomb before reaching its destination with a substantial shipment of cement intended for gun emplacements, now rests in shallow waters – averaging 3 meters. Remarkably, many of the surrounding rocks are actually remnants of those cement bags. The site is teeming with marine life including barracuda, crabs, octopus, pipefish, juvenile harlequin sweetlips, and banded sea snakes. It offers a unique glimpse into wartime history combined with vibrant underwater ecosystems.
