About this dive site
This dive site is located on the Dauin coast and represents a fantastic drift dive, particularly suitable for experienced divers. The maximum depth reached during this dive is approximately 20 meters, with occasional strong currents present. This location derives its name from ‘Mainit’, meaning ‘hot,’ referencing the distinctive patches of yellow sand found towards the end of the dive – these sands are a byproduct of nearby hot springs. Divers can expect to encounter schools of barracuda and Spanish mackerel during the drift. Hidden within the sandy slope, you'll discover various species of snake eels.
