About this dive site
This dive site offers a remarkable underwater experience centered around a submerged mountain ridge, creating a unique ecosystem teeming with marine life. The area is known for its high biodiversity and abundance of animals. Dive depths range from 14 meters at the ridge’s summit to 32 meters in the southern section and 26 meters in the north. The 'Bajo de Fuera' or 'Bajo de Emilio,' a popular dive location, provides an especially vibrant experience. This area boasts a diverse array of Mediterranean flora and fauna, including extensive aggregations of salps, sargassum, castañuelas, as well as meros, congrios, morenas, pulpos, espetones, dentones (often quite large), and occasionally even the elusive Pez Luna. Adding to the fascination are numerous small invertebrates such as nudibranchs, espirógrafos, and anemones. The underwater environment is rich with color and variety at every level.
