About this dive site
This dive site is a fascinating wreck located just five minutes from the picturesque port of Mogán, often referred to as ‘Little Venice’ in South Gran Canaria. The wreck rests at a depth of 20 meters and lies on its starboard side within a mixed seabed comprised of sand and small rocks. It was once a fishing boat but now serves as an important habitat for marine life, contributing to the area's sustainability efforts and attracting sport divers. Explorers can easily navigate through bridge sections, holds, and the engine room. The surrounding waters are covered in fine algae, providing shelter to a diverse array of crustaceans, fish, and mollusks – including the rare European parrotfish, bastard grunts, cornet fish, morays, and occasionally dusky groupers. Pelagic species like amberjacks and tuna may also be spotted on occasion. The area offers an exceptional opportunity for underwater exploration and wildlife observation.
