This dive site is located in a shallow area near the Aquatours Almería dive center, characterized by rocky formations and underwater caves. The area also features Posidonia oceanica meadows and sandy patches. Diving depths range from the surface down to 14 meters. The seabed is rich with benthic life including various algae species – green, red, and brown – alongside eight distinct sponge types. You'll find large sand anemones, beautiful groupings of hydrozoans, ear-shaped sea ears, octopuses, and a diverse selection of solitary fish such as parablenios and gobies. Furthermore, the area hosts substantial schools of castanetfish and green fish. This dive offers an excellent opportunity to explore a vibrant underwater ecosystem.
