About this dive site

This dive site is located on Isla del Descubridor, a small islet off the coast of Jávea in Spain. Accessible by heading south and passing Cabos de San Martín and Cabo la Nao, it offers an ideal Caribbean-style diving experience. The island features two distinct dive locations. The eastern tip presents a dramatic vertical wall descending to 19 meters, richly adorned with colorful anemones and sponges. On the southern side lies the Dolphin Cave, a small sandy grotto containing the skeleton of a dolphin – a truly unique sight. Divers can expect to encounter diverse marine life including anemones and vibrant sponges throughout this captivating dive area. The discovery of the dolphin skeleton adds an element of mystery and intrigue to this already remarkable location.
