About this dive site
This dive site is located in Marina Del Este, a renowned marine reserve in the south of Spain. It offers diverse diving opportunities suitable for various experience levels. The area features a dramatic cliff face with numerous crevices and underwater formations, ideal for exploration. A prominent route follows the western side of the bay, descending to approximately 40 meters where deeper dives can be undertaken. This section is particularly well-suited for experienced divers and those pursuing deep specialty courses. Along this wall, you'll discover a rich ecosystem including sponges and soft corals – providing excellent photographic opportunities. The marine life in Marina Del Este includes frequently sighted seahorses and barracuda, alongside schools of damselfish, anthias, and wrasse. Occasionally, magnificent sunfish (Mola Mola) can be observed.
