About this dive site
This dive site presents the remains of a steam ship, built in England in 1853 and tragically lost near the Island of Tarifa due to a collision. The wreck’s structure—including iron machinery components, holds, and interior spaces—has been remarkably preserved. Divers can explore this historical artifact while encountering various marine life, such as dentex fish, snappers, and schools of colorful fish. Sunfish may also be spotted with attentive observation. The site offers a unique opportunity to witness the remnants of a bygone era beneath the waves.
