This dive site, Remior Reef, is situated off the coast of Spain, offering a diverse underwater environment characterized by rocky bottoms interspersed with sandy patches. With a maximum depth of 11 meters and an average depth of around 5 meters, it is an ideal location for beginner divers and for conducting initiation dives. Navigation is straightforward, moving between these distinct substrate types.

The reef's ecosystem thrives with beautiful kelp forests, particularly vibrant during spring and summer, which host a large variety of marine life. Divers can expect to encounter numerous labrids such as pintos, maragotas, julias, gaianes, and porredanas among the kelp. In the sandy areas adjacent to the reef, different species of rays, notably the mosaic ray, are a common sight.

The best time to visit Remior Reef is during spring and summer when the kelp forests are at their most abundant and teeming with life. This site is highly suitable for both snorkeling and freediving due to its shallow depths and rich biodiversity. Divers should bring a camera to capture the vibrant macro life within the kelp and be mindful of searching for rays camouflaged on the sandy bottom.
