About this dive site
This dive site is located along the Seestrasse, accessible from Küssnacht am Rigi and Vitznau. It's situated near Unterwilen bus stop with a parking lot nearby. The area offers access to several aquatic species throughout the year, including Egli, Trüschen, and Hechte. During springtime, a significant frog breeding event takes place. The primary dive route begins at a gravel beach on the right side of the park and concludes near a staircase on the left. Expect diverse rock formations, a submerged tree trunk approximately 20 meters down, and seagrass meadows with potential encounters with juvenile fish. In spring, numerous frogs are actively breeding; please exercise caution around their delicate spawning grounds. Diving is restricted from September 1st to December 31st, between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM from June 1st to August 31st, and the left entrance is permitted from September 1st to May 31st, with restrictions between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM from June 1st to August 31st.
